Strawberry Cake Recipe

1 box white cake mix

1 packet strawberry gelatin (small packet)

1 c oil

1/2 c milk

4 eggs

1 cup mashed candied strawberries (undrained)

frost

1 stick of soft butter

1 lb packet of powdered sugar

1/2 cup mashed strawberries, drained

1. Cake: Mix all cake ingredients together and pour into a 9" x 11" pan. (You can layer 2 layers in smaller pans if you prefer.) Don't overfill the pan, or the batter will bake for a very long time.

2. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

3. Freezing: Mix the frosting ingredients together. (It is very important that the strawberries be drained.) If it's too thick, keep adding strawberries until you get the right consistency.
