Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

 




*Ingredients:


°1 lb minced roast beef

°2 tablespoons olive oil

°9 slices of provolone

°1 large bell pepper - chopped

°1/2 cup chopped onion

°4 tablespoons butter, halved

°2 tablespoons mayonnaise

°1 dozen buns

°2 tablespoons whole bagel filling

+Bagel Topping Any:

°1/4 cup sesame seeds

°1/4 cup poppy seeds

°1/4 cup dried onion flakes

°1/4 cup black sesame seeds (optional)

°1 tbsp garlic salt


*Instructions:


-Preheat oven to 350°C.

-In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients of the "Everything Bagel Mix". -Store in a tightly closed box.

-In a separate small bowl, mix 2 tbsp melted butter with 2 tbsp bagel mix. Set aside while preparing the sandwiches

-In a medium skillet over a medium-high skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. -Add the chopped vegetables and sauté until tender and lightly browned around the edges. Put aside.

-In  skillet on medium-high heat, add 2 tsp of olive oil and 1 lb of shaved roast beef. Cook until heated through and lightly toasted.

-Carefully cut the buns in half, taking care to keep them together. create a top and a bottom.

-Place the bottom of the rolls in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Spread the mayonnaise on the bottom of the rolls.

- Top rolls with heated beef spread over buns. Layer of Provolone cheese on top of the meat.

-Scatter the sautéed vegetables over the cheese. Placing in preheated oven for 8-10 mn to cheese is melted.

-Remove from the oven, add the tops of the buns, brush with all the bagel butter. -Return to the oven for another 5 minutes.

-Remove the sliders from the oven. Cutting to individual sandwiches. Serve.
